Introducing the Clear-View Series of Innovative FT-IR Microscope ATR Objective
The micro ATR method is widely used as one of the common techniques for micro-scale measurement because surface of samples can be measured easily by simply contacting the surface of high refractive index crystal to the samples, which also improves the spatial resolution. However, since by the conventional technique, the sample cannot be observed when contacting the surface of sample with crystal, only the sample in the center position of crystal can be measured. The innovative ATR objective allows the observation of a contact point between sample and crystal during measurement. By combining with IQ-mapping function of the IRT-5000/7000, the ATR mapping also can be done while observing a contact point.

Introducing the MCB-100 Mini Water Circulation Bath
We are proud to introduce New MCB-100 Mini Water Circulation Bath. The MCB-100 is closed-loop water circulation bath for cooling/heating of an external device by circulating precisely temperature controlled water from the bath. The flow circulation rate of 1 L/min and a 52 W cooling/heating capacity assures high performance even with the compact size of this circulator allowing installation anywhere. The MCB-100 can be placed very closely to the unit requiring the temperature control.

FTIR Start-Up Campaign

Introducing JASCO’s New X-LC™ Instruments including PDA Detectors
Ultra HPLC (UHPLC) is the innovative liquid chromatography method for the next generation HPLC separations. In order to accomplish such innovation, JASCO developed 100MPa-compatible LC pump in 2002. The X-LC 3000 Series were introduced into the market in 2005 as uppder-grade series of LC-2000Plus Series and line-up of X-LC units have been improved and expanded. And today, we are proud to introduce new X-LC instruments to strengthen further product line-up.
X-LC 3110MD PDA Detector
The X-LC 3110MD is newly designed PDA detector enabling ultra-high speed data acquisition at the rate of 100 data points per second for UHPLC application. Newly designed optical system with 1024 element photodiode array allows high spectral resolution in a wide wavelength range from 190 to 900 nm.
X-LC 3180PU Solvent Delivery Unit
The X-LC 3180PU is a successive model of the X-LC 3080PU. The SSQD (Slow Suction, Quick Delivery) pumping system provides durable, accurate and pulse-free operation. This pump can be operated under the pressure at maximum 100MPa with flow rate range: 0.001 to 5.0mL/min. The X-LC 3180PU is suitable for much faster analysis with higher flow rate as compared with the X-LC 3185PU.
X-LC 3161CO Column Oven
The X-LC 3161CO is newly designed compact column oven for the X-LC system and accommodates UHPLC column up to 100 mm in length. Temperature range is from 15 °C below ambient to 90 °C with accuracy, ±0.1 °C at 40 °C.
X-LC 3180HV Switching Valve
The X-LC 3180HV is high pressure switching valve (2-position, 6-port valve) at pressures up to 100 MPa. Minimum solvent volume is 0.3 µL (port-to-port) optimized for UHPLC applications. Flow line and/or column switching for an on-line automated pretreatment UHPLC system can be configured by using this valve.

Introducing New PDA Detector for LC-2000Plus Series
JASCO is proud to announce the release of new PDA detector, model MD-2018, for the LC-2000Plus Series. The MD-2018 is new PDA detector which incorporates newly designed optical system with 1024-element photodiode array, allowing high spectral resolution in a wide wavelength range from 190 to 900 nm.
ChromNAV chromatography data system provides the researcher with sophisticated data acquisition and processing of PDA data through USB 2.0.

JASCO’S FEATURED PRODUCT AT PITTCON 2009 - Preparative SFC System with Chiral Detection
JASCO’s featured product at Pittcon 2009 will be the Preparative SFC system with chiral detection. Providing a versatile modular design and excellent performance, this system is the ideal solution for fast, reliable chiral separation and isolation.
The heart of the system is JASCO’S patented back-pressure regulator, which allows control of system pressure regardless of solvent composition and flow rate. The pumping system is based on the proven performance of our 2000 series analytical SFE/SFC system and can deliver up to 120ml/min of CO2 and 60 ml/min of modifier and flush solvents at pressures up to 35 MPa (5000 psi). Injections can be manual or fully automated. Repetitive injections can be performed to overlay chromatographic runs. Detection choices include UV and/or CD interface capability.
Fraction collection of up to 8 fractions by time, signal level and/or slope is standard. In addition, spectral purity monitoring of chiral molecules using the g-factor output of the CD detector is standard with the CD detector option.
Up to 20 mm x 250 mm columns can be accommodated in the column oven while 30mm and larger columns can be used outside the oven.
