2010-04-26 Introducing New NRS-5000/7000 Series Laser Raman Spectrometers

Raman Spectrometers are widely used as one of the general-purpose analytical instrument for examing both inorganic and organic substances in various fields of science such as carbon composites, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor materials and advanced materials.
Since the development of the first Raman spectrometer, "R-300", in 1970, we have continued to offer various types of Raman spectrometers over the last forty years. Applying JASCO's forty years of experience with top-of-the line technology, we are proud to introduce the all new NRS-5000/7000 Series Laser Raman Spectrometers.
The NRS-5000/7000 Series are new innovative Laser Raman Spectrometers, providing several new functions such as high-speed imaging, 3D imaging and automated fluorescence correction function as well as basic specifications which have been drastically improved. User advice function and fully automated system assure easy operation and the optional 1064 nm laser and InGaAs detector provides more effective fluorescence removal as compared with 785 nm laser.

2010-04-26 Introducing New SFS-490/480 Series Stopped-flow Systems

The stopped-flow method, first put into practice by Britton Chance in 1940, is still being used today as the main technique to follow rapid reactions in a time frame from a millisecond to a minute and can be coupled with several spectroscopic techniques.
As a successive model of the SFA-450 Series, we are pleased to introduce the all-new New stopped-flow systems for the J-815 CD spectrometer and the FP-6500 spectrofluorometer.

The SFS-490 Series and the SFS-480 Series are stopped-flow accessories for the J-815 CD spectrometer and FP-6500 spectrofluorometer, respectively. The innovative design of the SFS-490/480 Series offer many advantages over previous integrated systems. For example, a compact modulator approach introduces a level of system flexibility unknown in the past allowing the user to select from two, three and four syringe designs and to change the configurations at any time to meet
any experimental demands.

2010-04-26 Introducing New FVS-6000 VCD Spectrometer and VFT-4000 VCD Attachment for FTIR

To determine the molecular conformation of chiral molecules, electronic circular dichroism (ECD) method is used for UV-Vis region and vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) method for IR region.
It is not easy to obtain high quality VCD spectrum due to a generally weak signal of peaks in VCD spectrum. The all-new FVS-6000 VCD Spectrometer and VFT-4000 VCD Attachment for FT/IR-4000/6000 Series are new generation VCD measurement systems, where instrument performance such as sensitivity and stability has been improved drastically by newly designed DSP and VCD auto-alignment mechanism.
