VIR-100/200/300 Versatile FT-IR Spectrometer

The VIR-100/200/300 FT-IR spectrometers are designed with flexibility in mind, providing various configurations for the laboratory, the field and customized applications. The most suitable system can be configured by selecting specific accessories matched to the desired applications, additional accessories added as needs change. For even greater flexibility, external connection optics allows the user to install up to three different attachments in one system, selecting the most appropriate application accessory by simply switching the PC controlled optical configuration.

VIR-100
The VIR-100 is the most economical general-purpose instrument and interfaces to all accessories.

Measurement wavenumber range: 7800 to 350 cm^-1
Max resolution: 0.9 cm^-1
S/N ratio: 18,000:1

VIR-200
The VIR-200 is the advanced model with higher performance and wavenumber range expandability.

Measurement wavenumber range: 7800 to 350 cm^-1
(optional wavenumber range: 15000 to 375 cm^-1)
Max resolution: 0.4 cm^-1
S/N ratio: 22,000:1

VIR-300
The VIR-300 is Near-IR model suitable for field analysis.

Measurement wavenumber range: 15000 to 2200 cm^-1
Max resolution: 0.4 cm^-1
S/N ratio: 8,000:1

Combination with External Connection Optics

External connection optics allows the user to install up to three different attachment in one system, selecting the most appropriate application accessory by simply switching the PC controlled optical configuration.

Accessories and Multipurpose configurations

MultiChambIR Attachment
The MultiChambIR is a unique attachment incorporating several measurement attachment such as transmittance/reflectance, ATR and DR into one system enabling several different application. Each function can be switched through control panel or PC.

Fiber Interface Attachment
Fiber-coupled accessories is suitable for in-line monitoring in a reaction vessel or manufacturing process lines. Using NIR techniques allows the non-destructive analysis of components in industrial products and foods. Various probes can be selected depending on the purpose of measurement requirements.

Smart-Tech Powder Measurement Attachment
Smart-Tech enables simple sample preparation and easy measurement procedure. To measure a solid sample, the included sampling holder is used to scrape the sample surface. Power sample can be placed directly onto the sampling holder without further preparation. Coupling the VIR with autosampler type Smart-Tech allows to measure up to 49 samples. Combing with data comparison function of program provides quick results for plastics, pharmaceuticals, or forensic drugs etc.
